Fighting games have a long history of being popular, regardless of period or the platform they are released on. Hence, whether it was arcade machines a few decades back or the state-of-the-art PlayStation 4 nowadays, everyone is up for a round of button mashing with Mortal Kombat or Guilty Gear. However, it would be tons of fun if you could do this online, with more than one other player.

Lost Saga is exactly that and it did a pretty good job at expanding its influence since it was released, because it managed to get from South Korea all over Asia and even to North America. Choose a hero and hire more mercenaries

Lost Saga is exactly that and it did a pretty good job at expanding its influence since it was released, because it managed to get from South Korea all over Asia and even to North America. In essence, it is an online fighting game, which means that players get together and share a good beating, in order to compete for currency and experience, both of which can be used to acquire more heroes.

Lost Saga

These heroes are actually called mercenaries, and you get to hire them whenever you have enough cash to unlock their powers. However, instead of having to choose one or the other to start playing, you can actually switch between them at the flick of a button during gameplay. This makes the encounters that much more intense, not to mention the fact that the confrontations are usually between more than two characters.

Win battles to get more cash and experience

Saga

Although in-game currency is usually used to purchase the mercenaries, there are other ways to unlock them as well, although they usually require a lot of work and patience. Even so, the game follows the free-2-play model, which means that while you are indeed free to enjoy the game and unlock some of the heroes, the premium ones are only available in exchange for real cash.

From a technical point of view, the graphics engine is in 3D, but the rest is rather simple and unimpressive, especially when you consider the year it was released in. However, the game’s main purpose is to provide you with fun and a bit of action in the form of fighting, which is always welcomed. In that regard, the gameplay and the controls are quite responsive, so the experience should be pleasant in most parts.

An exciting adventure with plenty of action

Lost Saga

All things considered, Lost Saga could have done a better job when it comes to graphics and general level design, but the underlying gameplay mechanics are its saving grace. Hence, if you’ve been waiting for an online fighting game, this is it, brought to you by the people who basically invented the genre.

Lost Saga Private Server

Lost Saga is a free-to-play 3D fighting game developed by I.O. Entertainment. The game features characters from science fiction, culture, and history, and offers players the ability to switch characters on the fly to improve gameplay, combinations, and the overall combat experience.

In the North American market, Lost Saga was originally launched in 2009, hosted by OGPlanet and playable on Microsoft Windows[1] via a standalone client. The service was transferred to WeMade USA in 2013,[2] who then transferred it over to Z8Games during the same year.[3] Z8Games would eventually cross-launch Lost Saga on Steam, starting on November 27, 2014,[4] with each version of the game being identical to each other.

Z8Games would eventually shut down the entire North American service on September 19, 2019.[5] The service still remains active in other markets.[6]
